New policy on inactivity.
If you are inactive for more than a month and have 0 posts your account will get deleted
People who have already been inactive for more than a month will start to get deleted in a week.

Re: New policy on inactivity.
What the hell does that accomplish? If they're inactive, they're not using their account or caring. However, if they were inactive and were considering becoming active you're greatly inconveniencing them and likely keeping them inactive. This only hurts the site.

I guess thinking before implementing policy would be pro.
Re: New policy on inactivity.
Im only temp banning the inactive accounts. Ive deleted the accounts that were inactive for more than 26 days and no posts, because they clearly didnt care about those accounts. (I think I actually might of deleted some earlier ones by accident though... my bad >.>) Its to premote activity. Too much lurking. Voice your oppinion, theres no reason you cant do that, it really isnt hard. You can talk about ANYTHING in the off topic section. Surely you have something to say. Accounts with no posts were clutter, Im not talking about deleting the accounts with posts or anything of the like, I guess that wasnt well spoken but Im not at all the only forum that deletes users that do not post within a certain time frame after creating that account.

People will see the previews without signing up. :/

Well thats probably irrelevant at this point. We will have some good members only content up, as we already do. We had our first contest that was a success more or less and we will have more things similar in the future such as tournament coverage and stuff along those lines.

Perhaps specific incentive for reporting on certain events?

If we do not have a representative already there, perhaps.

I'm aware all planning is tentative. Just make sure to update the main page with information relevant to things such as this.
Also, if there was a link at the top to get to the ACTUAL home page, that would be appreciated.
