What do YOU want to see on these forums?
So the question that ALWAYS gets asked, what do you want to see?
People just say do what you want to do, but it isnt that easy. Something I want to do may not appeal the masses. What is something that the current viewers would want to see and would bring new users here as well? Some options to look at are articles (if so what do you want me to write about), youtube stuff (although this doesnt really necessarily bring people here), new sections to discuss different things (what kind of sections would a lot of people be interested in? non naruto or non card related), a new layout?
So I'd really appreciate some input on what everyone would like to see.
Also, I will also be starting to do deck profiles on my youtube channel ( Check it out here! ) but Id really like to know what kind of decks everyone wants to see. I can do pretty much any deck, within a week or so of getting a request but for starters what are some things people want to see? My take on Mono Water (although not much different than EVERYONE else's), Mono Earth, my updated Mono Wind, True Allies etc? Even if you have some weird deck ideas let me know and I will see what I can do. Either post here, PM me, or send me a message on youtube. I will also hopefully have some game footage between me and some locals up next weekend but my footage from NJ was pretty much rendered useless because of my old ass camera

Just do cool stuff relatively often and always be on the lookout recruiting new members for your site.
But to better answer your question, I would like to see real games. Even locals would be fine.
I like to be able to compare my local meta against other mates, no matter how localized or nationalized they are.
At any rate, if you do articles by yourself, do them 2-3 times a week. If you do videos, do at least 1 constructive one per week.
If you have any more specific questions, just ask them and I would be happy to at least try to help.

Re: What do YOU want to see on these forums?
Truthfully, most of us (In the group of people I talk to) dislike your youtube channel. Its just you, talking. That could easily be an article, that sounds way more intelligent because of your ability to reread what you wrote and make corrections. If you notice, pat did a youtube show during the first month or two of TPC, which I told him is worse than writing an article. He hasn't done a youtube show since. Articles are just always a better option, unless you are having a conversation or an interview, inwhich case a podcast makes the most sense, because the video portion is irrelivant, and distracting.
At the same time, I don't feel you are a very strong writer either. Your articles feel shallow, and poorly written (Including grammatical mistakes, awkward sentences, and poor word choices) but being only 16 it's somewhat understandable. You will get better over time as you write more, so continue to write articles, but it would definetly help to have people look over them before you post them.
What I really want out of this site is the forum aspect. Between TPC, NSL, and Bandai Articles I don't believe anyone feels shorted on people telling the community what they think (even if most of them are retarded). This sites greatest strength is that it's an alternative forum where the upper half of the Bandai community can discuss things without posts like "water aint broken, i beat it all teh time at my stor wit my fire/lightning anbu deck". Truthfully, this place has become a second playtcg, so you should try to expand on the forum aspect (New sections, forum contests/awards, a better skin) as well as making new topics for EVERYTHING. Whever a preview goes up anywhere, you should link to the preview (The page its on, not the image, that way if its part of an article you dont upset the writer) and start a discussion thread here. Odds are it will pick up steam, just like it does on Bandai, but with less stupid people ruining the thread with "OMG THAT VANILLA TONTONIS BROKEN IN MY 5 COLOR ANIMAL DECK".
Just my 2 cents.

Dude water is the suckz, I beat it with my Byakugan daily.
I remember someone saying that banner should have been gone along time ago... the banner should have awesome circus shit scrolling across! I'm sick of Sakura, I think its cuz she's got a huge “I just got laid smile” next to some serious text. Circus always starts with the elephant, you cannot start circus without the elephant otherwise stupid people get confused. He should be pushing a cool circus ball, so the first thing should be a cool circus ball getting pushed by a huge but not so big kind of cool elephant. Followed by… monkeys’… doing cartwheels, cuz monkeys doing anything else is boring, and human like. After the jump roping monkeys… mass clowns.
…And balloons, graffiti, and circus shit… starting with the ball.
Otherwise porn is fine… I like the idea of sending me free stuff also….
but hey this isnt my site, I don't mind it not being awesome.

Re: What do YOU want to see on these forums?
Appreciate the responses guys.
@Zero - I'll take that into consideration. I like the youtube channel cause if theres something small I want to be known its easier and more noticeable than writing an article and getting a "TL;DR". Some people dont always like to read and a lot of the time they can open the youtube window and just hear the audio going and get the information I need. However, I will be moving more towards the video aspect for my channel, things like deck profiles seem to be more effective use of video than me talking, as well as maybe some matches between me and Travis at a local. Sometimes I feel you can be less formal in the youtube channel and still get your point across. Articles, to me atleast, seem to be dumb if they are too short and unappealing to some if they are too long, and having a good topic to get that medium isnt always there. I will definitely take everything you said into consideration though, thanks.
@Travis - Our good friend MJM is working on a new banner, and Ill look into skins. Personally I HATE forums that are super dark, its just hard to navigate and not as inviting. If I find a better skin I may change it.
@Tony - Articles 2-3 times a week seems unrealisitic and then you get into situations like the bandai writers who write about shitty topics. If there is a good topic that hasnt been talked about to no end (Mono water...) I can put up an article. There are plenty of other topics to be explored that I could write about but some may be better left to the youtube channel like interviews and such.
@Colin - Why cant you post anything even remotely intelligent?
Also, I love the responses, keep them coming!

If you go to the bandai site they have a tutorial on how to play. My videos are more geared towards advanced players. Reading through the rule book a couple times and going to your local hobby shop that plays naruto could help as well.

Re: What do YOU want to see on these forums?
In all seriousness though, I would take from the ideas of Yugitubers. Record matches between pros, that's one of the most important things. Another idea is one that Billy Brake had, you put a real life situation up (what your opponent has, what you have) and he tells you how he made a pro play to win. The second idea isn't that good though because comparing Yugioh to Naruto, with Naruto it depends how your opponent will block, and tbh it's a simpler game so it won't be hard to figure it out.
Just 2 ideas.

Making situations with naruto is insanely hard. Ive watched Brakes videos and I though about doing that but theres just too many variable in Naruto to account for and its very very different than YuGiOh.
Ive got matches with me on my YouTube. AKA The best pro. Ill get some in TX too.

Well get more. And yes, Naruto isn't as simple as like Pokemon, but I still think that it's simpler than Yugioh in many aspects. No attack/defense position, no Spell Speed 3 counter trap bullshit, no excessive summoning of monsters in one turn, no Synchros (multiple to choose from, how to get to that specific level in a turn).
I'm not saying Naruto is particularly easy, but Yugioh has so many more different factors to consider, at least from my experience.
